International Day of Italian Cuisine Jan. 17, 2010

Did you know about this? I didn’t until today. Be sure to stay tuned for my celebration of this special celebration. I can’t wait to make the signature dish, Tagliatelle al ragù Bolognese for dinner on Sunday. Are you going to take the challenge with me? As I read through several recipes at the linked page, I see that I am going to be challenged a bit. I need to procure some ingredients that may not be feasible here but I will be trying over the next day or so.

Be sure to let me know if you plan on celebrating IDIC on Sunday and what you are making. It doesn’t have to be Tagliatelle al ragù Bolognese, it can be any Italian food you like.

  1. well, if it has to be pasta, I might make it with fresh cheese sauce, basil (I positively LOVE that stuff!!!) and a salad. I go meat-less most days of the week.
