That right there is my first loaf of Italian bread. I followed the recipe on the bag of bread flour! I know that is rather silly but I didn’t want to get too far from basic my first time out. Today I am baking two loaves of rosemary bread. I have fresh rosemary that is all ready to go. The bowl in the picture is my first attempt at homemade pesto. I was delicious!
Look at that color! Doesn’t it just scream flavor? I made this fantastic recipe from Gimme Some Oven last night. I loved the whole thing although we used spaghetti and not gnocchi. My guys didn’t care for the shrimp and sort of tolerated the asparagus.
I try to take decent pictures of my food and for my tutorials. I also have two teenaged sons and they like to take pictures. I never know what I will find on my camera after they have had it in their hands. This picture caught me off-guard and made me laugh at the same time.
That is our lovable mutt Jack. Here is his full face. Isn’t he cute?
He likes when I make pasta because he eats what falls on the floor. Strange dog.
If I can indulge once more, here is another picture I found when uploading this morning.
Happy Saturday everyone!

Yum! I love fresh baked bread!

Ohmygosh! Your bread looks fantastic!!! I never met a carb I didn’t like, lol! I’m moving to Italy in five months and plan to be learning to cook Italian foods myself. How fun to compare notes??

Congrats on the bread! Isn’t homemade so much better than storebought? The rosemary sounds delicious.
What a cute puppy!
OMG – that looks DELISH!!!
Stopping by from SITS to welcome you to the fold!
Thank God dinner is on the stove because these pictures made my mouth water! What a darling little dog. I just want to pick him up. Is he friendly? Cute cute blog. I have to still figure out my facebook fan page! I put up my regular facebook badge on my blog, then tried to get a fan page up, but now I have only 3 visitors following me on the fan page. What should I do?
Well, thanks for sharing! Happy cooking. Give us some MORE stories about your life.

By the way, excellent loaf. Reading the directions on the bag. Who would have thought?
The bread was YUMMY! And the fresh pasta and sauce. mmmmm, magnifico!! Blessed to be the one Michelle tested her rosemary bread on. Gonna get brave and attempt to make the rosemary bread for Easter dinner. Thanks Michelle.
Luv ya!
It was a pleasure cooking for you and Bob. Can’t wait to do it again.
