Giveaway-In Celebration of my 1 year anniversary

I am so excited to announce this giveaway. I contacted Andrea Burnett, the publicist for Mark Leslie, author of Beyond the Pasta and she agreed to send me a copy for one lucky reader!I know this is a book you want to read for yourself or give as a gift, so be sure to enter my drawing to win this copy. There are a few ways to do that.

1. Leave a comment telling me why you want this book.

For extra entries

2. Subscribe to my blog, leaving a comment telling me (if you already do, tell me you do)-Make sure to use the form on the sidebar to subscribe to the blog and not just the comments. Some have confused this and subscribed to the wrong thing.

3. Tweet this giveaway, leaving a comment telling me you did.

4. Follow me on Twitter-comment saying you did (if you already do, tell me you do)

5. Follow me on Facebook-comment saying you did (if you already do, tell me you do)

So there you have 5 chances to win a copy of Beyond the Pasta for yourself. Contest entries will close on Dec.9th and I will pick a lucky winner on Dec. 10th using Random.org to pick the winner. Join me in celebrating one year of blogging.

I am trying to get a few more prizes to offer but I can’t promise anything just yet.

STOP THE PRESSES!

Not the olive presses! I just received word from California Olive Ranch that they are sending me a bottle of their olive oils for me to giveaway to another reader! So all comments will be part of the drawing for all prizes. Please take some time to go visit California Olive Ranch’s site and check out their products. I will be posting a review soon of their oils.

Leave a comment telling me you are following CA Olive Ranch on Twitter and that you “Like” them on Facebook for more entries.

** The fine print: Open to US residents only. Sorry but I just can’t ship overseas or to Canada at this time.

  1. I’ve tweeted the giveaway, Michelle! I love the snowballs falling. :) If I were to win this, I would give it as a gift to my mother, who is an excellent cook and has a different past few weeks dealing with sickness and injuries. That said, I am not a good cook, and maybe I could then borrow it from her! LOL So it would get some use for sure.

    Cheers,
    Tia

  2. I would just love to have this book- I have wanted it since the moment I first heard about it. I collect cookbooks and love to experiment but this wouldn’t be an experiment it would be a trip home!

  3. Since reading your review, my interest was piqued. I love reading cookbooks that have a story involved. It would also be a wonderful addition to my collection that I will someday pass on to my daughter-in-law who also is a wonderful cook.

  4. Michelle:
I would love to have this and my pasta loving daughter would love it even more…. if you were willing to post to the UK, that is ….! It would be the ideal opportunity to get her to do some more cooking alongside me. (She would eat Pasta every day and every meal, given the opportunity!)
Many congrats on your 1st Blogiversary – may there be many more!
(Loving the return to your original WordPress theme, by the way – the one I use too – so easy to find your way round the page.)

PS I do subscribe – though I think you might know that.

  6. I follow you on fb anddddd I would like to keep the book for myself so I can become a better cook and I’d realllllllllly love some fancy olive oils!! :)

  7. I’d love to have that book! I am Sicilian and love learning to cook more Italian dishes. That looks like a great book, MIC!

  8. Love to cook! Love Italian especially! If you like this cookbook, then I KNOW I will ! Your recipes sound sooooo fabulous and if this book is your inspiration…. I want it !!!!

  9. Just discovered your blog and have FB followed! My grandparents came to the U.S. about the same time yours did and my grandfather was also from the Campobasso area.

I love to cook – especially Italian – and love to read cookbooks like novels. : )

  10. Michelle,
“Grazie tanto!” for sharing my book with your followers. Recently the book has been featured in publications across the country in cities like Denver, Tucson and Sacramento…with more falling cities into place every day.
As you did, people are connecting with the story and really enjoying the recipes…finding them accessible, simple and truly Italian. “Buonissime!”
“Buona Fortuna” to everyone who enters and should you not find the winning copy coming to your mailbox, I hope you’ll visit http://beyondthepasta.com/ to see how you can pick up a copy or two…still in time for the holidays! It is the perfect gift for the “foodie”/”world traveler” on your list.
    “Ciao, ciao, ciao~”
    Mark

    • Mark, I am so challenged to learn Italian while I read. In fact, I can be heard reading the words out loud while I read the book. And then I have to get out my cheat guide to help me know if I have to say a “kay” or “chay” sound for a “C” word. I am having so much fun reading that I might start reading it again as soo as I am finished!

  11. I am so happy that I saw this on bleedingespresso! Not just for the giveaway either, although I would of course love to win :D I’m always looking for new Italian recipes, & I love reading others’ Italian family stories. Felice anniversario on your blog, which I’ve subscribed to, and look forward to enjoying!
