It seems like it’s been forever since I first posted about re-doing our kitchen and I guess it has been awhile. I took some pictures both in the day and night but still the coloring and flash is not quite right. So these will have to do. Warning: pictures ahead! Here is a link to the kitchen before we painted.
As you can see, some pictures were taken before I made the curtains and some after. The lovely photograph on the wall was one I purchased from an online friend who is a great photographer. Check out Carrie Evans Photography for yourself. I still have to buy knobs for all the drawers and cabinets and hang a few more pictures. I wish we could have put in a new floor but it wasn’t in the budget. I really love the yellow and red combo in the kitchen. It feels warm and homey, like a place I’d want to spend time with friends and family. We have been eating most of our meals in here since it’s all done. I guess because it’s so bright, fresh and new. Just in time for Christmas!

I love the kitchen colors! Our entry way is the same red. We are moving in 2 weeks, but already have the red paint in the entry and kitchen of the new house. The red just makes me happy every time I see it. Maybe it is the Italian in me!??!
New stove, too? It is beautiful! I hope to upgrade our appliances soon.
There is a story about the stove a week or so back. Our old one caught fire inside when the heating element just melted one day. So my hubby said let’s get a new one. I like it so far.

Very nice!! We painted the kitchen in our old house very similar colors, & it was so ‘homey’
I heard red makes one hungrier but we haven’t had that issue yet! Still homey to me.
